Terms of use
The terms on which SheetMorph is offered: what it provides, what is asked of the people who use it, and where responsibility lies.
- In effect from: 28 October 2026
- Law that applies: The laws of India
In short
- SheetMorph is free to use. Downloading files needs a free account.
- Your designs and the files you export are yours.
- Check every pattern against your drawing and your own standards before cutting metal. You are responsible for what is made from it.
- Use the site fairly: no attacks, no overloading it, no getting round the sign-in for downloads.
- The site is provided as it is, and it needs an internet connection.
1. These terms
SheetMorph is a web application for developing flat patterns of sheet metal parts, run by Sai Kumar, an individual based in India, under the name Aroha Matrix ("we", "us"). These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, with or without an account. By using SheetMorph you agree to them; if you do not, please do not use it.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you use SheetMorph for a company, you agree to these terms for that company as well.
How personal data is handled is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. The service
SheetMorph calculates flat patterns, drawings and related figures from the sizes you enter, in your browser, and lets you export them as files. It needs an internet connection to open and to fetch its modules.
SheetMorph is free at present. If paid features are offered later, what they cost and the terms of payment will be stated before anything is charged; nothing already free will be charged for without notice.
We may change, add or remove modules and features, and we may stop the service. We aim to keep the site available, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of faults.
3. Your account
- Give an email address that is yours and that you can read: the account emails are sent to it.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account, and should tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- One account is for one person.
- You can stop using your account, or ask us to delete it, at any time (see "Ending").
4. Fair use
When you use SheetMorph, do not:
- attack, probe or test the security of the site or of the services it uses, except by reporting a weakness privately as the contact page describes;
- overload the site, or fetch its pages or files by automated means at a rate no person would;
- get round the sign-in that downloading files needs, or the limits of an account;
- use the site to break the law, or to harm anyone;
- copy, resell or offer SheetMorph, or a substantial part of it, as a service of your own.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and block traffic that harms the site.
5. Your designs and files
The sizes you enter, the parts and jobs you make, and the files you export are yours. We claim no rights in them, and they are not sent to us (see the privacy policy). You may use the exported files for any purpose, including commercial work.
Because your work is kept in your browser, it is lost if you clear the storage of your browser or change device. Export or save anything you want to keep; we cannot recover it.
6. Check before you cut
SheetMorph is a tool to help skilled people, not a replacement for their judgement. Before cutting, forming or welding anything from a pattern:
- check the pattern, its sizes and its allowances against your drawing and your own standards;
- confirm the seam, flange and bend allowances and the weld preparations for your material, thickness, process and machine; weld sizes are typical values to be confirmed in your welding procedure;
- set kerf compensation and lead-ins on the machine, and run G-code in the air first.
Nothing on the site is engineering, structural or professional advice. You are responsible for the parts made from what SheetMorph produces, and for their fitness for their use.
7. What belongs to us
The SheetMorph name and mark, the design of the site, its text, its pictures and its code belong to us. These terms let you use the site; they do not give you any other right in it.
Your ideas and suggestions are welcome. If you send one, we may use it without owing you anything for it.
8. Services of others
SheetMorph uses services of other companies, such as Supabase for accounts and Google for "Continue with Google", and links to others, such as GitHub for reporting a problem. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them.
9. No warranty
SheetMorph is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promise, express or implied, that it is accurate, complete, fit for a particular purpose, or free of faults, and no promise about the results of using it.
10. Limits of responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of material, time, work, profit, business or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, that comes from using SheetMorph or from not being able to use it, including material cut from a pattern that turns out to be wrong.
Since SheetMorph is free, our total liability to you for anything to do with it is limited, as far as the law allows, to one thousand Indian rupees (INR 1,000).
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away a right you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
11. Ending
You can stop using SheetMorph at any time. To have your account deleted, write to sheetmorph-privacy@arohamatrix.com.
We may close an account that breaks these terms, or close the service; if we close the service, we will say so on the site beforehand where we can. Your work stays in your browser either way.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The date they took effect is shown at the top. If a change matters to how you use SheetMorph, we will say so on the site before it applies; using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to law, please write to us so that we can try to settle the matter. Any dispute that cannot be settled goes to the courts of India, without taking away the right of a consumer to bring a claim in the courts of the country they live in.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms go to Sai Kumar, by email to sheetmorph@arohamatrix.com.
